A quilt is like a warm blanket. It has three layers:
1. the back, which is usually a whole piece of cloth.
2. the middle, which is a piece of warm batting like fluffy cotton.
3. the top, which is usually many piece of cloth pieced together in a lovely pattern.
The quilt pieces, above, are all fabrics from all over the world, representing countries where Mennonite volunteers work to bring peace and improve health and education.
